Artist Statement
For me, painting is the most natural and comforting form of expression. I have experienced cognitive problems because of my seizure disorder, and some of my Epilepsy medications have made it difficult for me to concentrate on painting. That was beyond frustrating, because painting is my passion. But using watercolor, I achieve true clarity of mind. I want people to know how I see and interpret the world. When I use watercolor paint, my innermost thoughts flow through my brush.

I am inspired by the raw emotion and bold colors of the German Expressionists. My color combinations are unique, and I can create a light and aura with a striking brilliance. This subtle and luminous light comes from deep inside of me.
